15th Annual Chili Bowl
Saturday, January 31, 2026, 1-4 PM at the Houghs Neck Congregational Church on 310 Manet Ave, Quincy, MA. For $10 admission fee, you get to sample 20 different Chili recipes and vote for your favorite. Always a fun event. My wife Kathryn has competed three times in the past and placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd before retiring her ladle. See the flyer below for more details.
Quincy Coders Spring Registration
Quincy Coders is a wonderful learning opportunity for kids from grades 1 - 8. Kids learn the fundamentals of coding and have fun in the process. I’ve personally witnessed this program several times, and it’s inspiring to watch the older kids lead the class in learning important critical thinking. If you want specific style guidance (e.g., AP, Chicago, conversational, formal), tell me that as well.skills. Registration for the spring is now open at this link. See the flyer below for cost, dates, times, and other details.
